When the belt conveyor is running, its driving device, driving drum and reversing drum, as well as the idler set will emit abnormal noise when it is not normal, and the abnormal noise can determine the fault.

Noise when the roller is seriously eccentric: abnormal noise often occurs in the roller when the belt conveyor is running, and it is accompanied by periodic vibration, especially the return roller, because of its large length and self-importance, the noise is relatively large. There are two main reasons for the noise: First, the seamless steel tube wall thickness of the manufacturing roller is not uniform, and the centrifugal force generated is larger. The second is that the deviation between the center of the bearing holes at both ends and the outer center of the circle is large during processing, so that the centrifugal force is too large, and the bearing can continue to be used without damage and allowing noise to exist.

Noise of the two shafts of the coupling: abnormal noise emitted at the coupling between the motor and the reducer at the high-speed end of the drive device or the coupling with the brake wheel, this noise is also accompanied by vibration different from the motor rotation frequency. At this time, the position of the motor reducer should be adjusted in time to avoid the fracture of the input shaft of the reducer.

Abnormal noise of reversing drum and driving drum: The noise of reversing drum and driving drum is very small when they are working normally. When abnormal, the bearing is generally damaged and the bearing seat makes a rattling sound. At this time, the bearing should be changed.
